The Canadian Medication Appropriateness and Deprescribing Network (CADeN) would like to acknowledge that our 2023 National Meeting will be held on the unceded Indigenous lands of the Kanien’kehá:ka Nation. Tiohtià:ke/Montréal has a long history as a place of gathering and exchange for many First Nations, including the Kanien’kehá:ka of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, Huron/Wendat, Abenaki, and Anishinaabeg. As part of our commitment to reconciliation, CADeN aims to build relationships with Indigenous communities, and to partner with these communities in research that reflects their priorities. Further, we are committed to learning and integrating Indigenous ways of knowing, doing and being throughout our work.
